Moisture Investigation         

Moisture is the single most prevalent cause of air quality problems.  The reason is that nearly all indoor air quality issues devolve from elevated levels of moisture.  For this reason, moisture investigation is integral to solving most air quality problems.

Some important elements of a moisture investigation include:

• Measuring the moisture content of the indoor air to see if there is a problem.

• Examining possible sources of moisture from outside a building.

• Measuring the moisture content of building components to isolate areas of risk or concern.

• Examining the building structure for hidden moisture sources.

• Inspecting plumbing and HVAC systems.

• Determine the best course of action based on the investigation data.
