Air Quality Investigation
Assessing and improving overall air quality typically is achieved by doing three things:
- Interviewing the home owner or building occupant to determine the nature of the problem or complaint. This often provides clues to the direction to take in step 2.
- Measuring different aspects of the air column and inspecting building components to determine the nature and degree of the problem. Depending on the data being sought, this can encompass a wide array of inspections, including mold testing, HVAC inspection, moisture testing, particulate counts, temperature & relative humidity, CO2 readings and more.
- Analyzing all of the collected data to understand the causes of the problem and to identify all reasonable options for correcting the problem.
